Who We Are
Game On Initiatives (GOI) is a vehicle for a concerned, supportive, and motivated community to dismantle systemic racism. With your help, we will acquire and distribute information to
1) Expose elements of society that work to undermine racial equality.
2) Highlight efforts that promote and defend Black and Brown communities against racism and,
3) Identify and highlight opportunities for like-minded people to join the fight against systemic racism.
4) Enable parents and students to access the kinds of factual information that is either not taught or is currently being removed from many schools.
5) Share successful strategies and practices that will enable affected communities and their inhabitants to thrive in the face of discriminatory practices and traditions.
All communities who support leveling the landscape and eradicating systemic racism will benefit from engaging this inclusive and ever-expanding online platform.
We enable individuals to educate themselves and others about the history of systemic racism and exchange information, strategies and ideas that will propel the cause and uplift our communities.
About the Organization
Game On Initiatives is a 501c3 nonprofit community and subscriber based interactive platform focused on dismantling systemic racism. GOI engages community participants, STARRs (Speakers of Truth Against Racist Rhetoric), who crowd-source information, action steps and testimonials, that inform and motivate individuals to find their course of action. Prior to posting, GOI reviews submissions to confirm reliability and source reference. GOI also hosts an informative, engaging podcast with educational information and perspectives, supported by weblinks in its WOKE-U section, interviews with trusted experts and conversations with directly impacted individuals, across a range of fields and topics. GOI’s goal is to create sustainable engagement of participants in social justice actions by connecting with ongoing efforts.
